Artist's Comments
The concept of Le Premiere Exposition was created in 2000 during the artist’s lonely summer in London as an experiment. Her experience of gloomy English weather made her crave for warm, sunny Filipino weather hence she created her own imaginary world which consisted of colors and ice.
Now that the artist is back in the Philippines, the warm tropical climate has proven itself to be the catalyst to the artist’s present work. The sunny disposition has added music and dance of the colors and ice onto the canvas. |
